Gregory B. Gullung, MD, attended Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA, and received his medical degree in 2006. Furthermore, he conducted his orthopedic surgery residency at The University of Alabama Birmingham Hospital in Birmingham, AL (2006-2011). In addition, he completed his fellowship training in spine surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS (2011-2012). In addition, Dr. Gullung received board certification from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. And, he remains at the forefront of his challenging specialty via memberships and affiliations with prestigious professional societies and associations. As a result, he is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the AOSpine Medical Association of the State of Alabama, the American Medical Association, and the North American Spine Society.
